1. Installing the real player
2. Creating your personal audio-cd
3. Getting the right format for the real jukebox cd-creator

1. Installing the real player:

You need the real player 8.0 basic or better to listen to the dj-mixes on our site. If the real player is not yet installed on your PC you can download it for free at the
real website. The free version (=basic version) of the real player is listed along with two other free programs (‘real jukebox’ & ‘real download’) on the bottom of the page. Just download it and follow the online instructions. The real player will automatically configure itself when installed. For offline archives of your downloaded real media files, mp3’s or even audio cd’s you can use the free basic version of the real jukebox. This player can also be used to create your own audio-cd from real media files or mp3-files...

2. Creating your personal audio-cd:

If you have a cd-recorder installed on your pc you can easily create your own audio-cd with free additional sofware from real. You can download the add-on software for free from the

real jukebox ‘install-cd’ page.

After the download the cd-creator configures itself automatically. Then you will find a new button on your real jukebox screen named ‘create cd’. Just click on this button and use ‘add titel’ on the right side to select the dj-mix you want to burn on cd-r or audio cd. If the mix does not appear in the list you may have to import it into real jukebox first. This is an easy-to-use free(!) feature that allows you to take your favorite downloaded dj-mix with you, e.g. to your car hifi system....

the latest version ‘real one player’ features a cd-creator automatically - check ‘free updates’ in your player menu if can’t find it!!

3. Getting the right format for the real jukebox cd-creator:

If the cd-creator tells you, that the audio-file has the wrong format, this may be because during the download the extension of the real audio file is sometimes changed - depending on the server.
If this problem occurs, check if the downloaded file is a real audio file with the extension ‘.ram’. The jukebox only accepts real audio files with the extension ‘.rm’ for cd-burning. To solve the problem just make a safety copy of your real audio file and try to change the name with your windows explorer from ‘name.ram’ into ‘name.rm’. Usually this works fine and you can use the renamed file to create your audio cd. The cd-creator also accepts mp3-files.
