Since 1995 we - the electronic delight team consisting of Arne Törber and Robert Martin - have been producing our radio show regularly on the radio station OK Hamburg. In october 2001 we started our live internet radio sessions on www.basic.ch. These live sets are webcasted directly from our hamburg-based ‘urban vinyl studio’. Afterwards the mixes are archived on the basic.ch - server.

We call our music-style ‘Urban Dance Music’.
It’s a fusion of many different musical directions, which - as a mixture of handmade, instrumental sounds and the fantastic possibilities of electronic music production - reaches infinite new soundscapes. We are particularly influenced by music-styles like Jazz, Latin, Funk, Soul, Disco and Pop. All these ideas are merged under a very broad and open-minded definition of ‘house-music’ and its adjacent new music styles. The enthusiasm and love for the music and its medium - the vinyl - started with techno, deep- and vocal house, trip hop and ambient. Through the years the above mentioned influences have brought more and more diversity into our special sound. The artists whose inspiration is most important to us include:
Masters at Work, Francois Kevorkian, Kerri Chandler, Phil Asher, Ludovic Navarre, Joe Claussell, Kings of Tomorrow, Larry Heard, Ron Trent, Blaze, Ashley Beedle, East West Connection and many more....

No matter if you call it jazz-house, nu latin, deep-house or whatever - it’s the music that counts!
